posted by Samieru

Hello! I am an American fan of LA-MULANA. I am playing it now with the English translation, and I love it! It's beautifully designed (I love the difficulty!) and the music is wonderful. Thank you for creating my favorite game.

I'm very excited to hear about the sequel, "Death Village." I will be eagerly following this blog for more information! Will the main character, the explorer, be Lemeza Kosugi again? Or is it a secret?

Hello, Madamluna!
Thank you for playing La-mulana!
And thank you for your comment!
I'm Samieru.
(Perhaps, a correct spelling is "Samuel". However, I have written my name as "SAMIERU" in staff credits.
It is very shameful. )

I'm very glad for English speaking person like you to enjoy La-mulana thanks to the translation staff.

Oh, sorry. "Death Village" is not a sequel of "La-mulana".

But, the beta version of "Death Village" is scheduled to be opened to the public in April.

Please wait.

Hello, Polaris!
Thank you for your comment! I'm Samieru.

Thank you for enjoying La-mulana!

Your offer of the translation is very glad...but, it is impossible.
The fatal flaw exists in the data structure of La-mulana.
La-mulana can't read and write two bytes characters other than Japanese.

After La-mulana, we thought it was problem for solution. As a result, our present projects like "Death Village" can translate to all language.
Of course, it is necessary to make the font.

But, La-mulana can't.

Thank you.

Hi!

Ok thanks for the information anyway the game is great... :)

I have one question and a request...

First the question:
Why the gr3 project has ended?what have become the team menbers?(the web site, the team)

Second the request:
Could give us some information on your devellopement activity in english please because it's very hard for us to read japanese ^_^.
Even if it's not a complete page, five or ten lines would be great to speak about Death Village...

Thanks you much.
Keep up the great work.
See you.

PS: sorry for my rusty english :)

Polaris, don't worry. Even if Naramura and Samieru don't post in English, Shih Tzu is translating some of the information in the posts over at the Independent Gaming Source.

I have read the page that Madamluna informed.
Wow! Great work!
Shih Tzu's translation looks perfect.

Shih Tzu had already written some of our answers in English. Thanks Shih Tzu.
Yes... I love R-TYPE DELTA.

Why did we end GR3Project?
After completing La-mulana, We discussed the development in the future.
At that time, we didn't think that there was time for us to make the MSX game any longer.
However, we wanted to create games.

The answer that we got was very simple. Let's make it work.

But if we want to gain incomes from game development, our games must go away from MSX forms.
"GR3Project" was the name of old MSX formed game development team.
So we decided to change our name.

There is no new development member.
It's completely same as GR3Project.

Our new name is... sorry, it's secret.
It is scheduled to open it to the public at the same time as starting the beta test of Death Village.

Please pardon making the English translation version of this blog.
I think it too hard for me.

>PS: sorry for my rusty english :)
No problem! Your English is better than mine!

Hello Polaris.

I think La-mulana is very difficult game, too.
This difficulty came from the word of NARAMURA.
He has been always saying that "I want to afflict the player further". La-mulana's traps were made from this concept.

But, Death Village will not have cruel difficulties.
...I think.

Let's talk about The maze of galious cartridge.
It's an one of the special cartridges.
You have to reach to secret area to get the maze of galious.
This secret is not so difficult. However, it appears at the middle of the game.
When you go to the place for the first time, the entrance may have not appeared.

And about metal gear... sorry, I forgot.

Some of MSX cartridges are hidden in very difficult area. And some of them might be also in the place with nothing.
It might be very difficult to find all.
It might be more difficult to complete the game.

>only complete walk throught but i don't want to look at them.

It is a word very glad.
We made La-mulana for a game player who has strong minds like you!

>if you got some job for a french translator i am your man...

Thank you Polaris!

See you!
